  | You can lose weight with this, but...
08/19/07 (reviewed by: Erwin Rommel from North Africa) |  Nutrisystem works well enough if you stick to it. However, their customer service and substitution rules are terrible. Make sure you don't get on an autoshipment. Once you do, you'll start seeing substitutions with every order. It's like they feel they've got you now and they can send you the bottom of the barrel foods that no one orders and so deplete their stock reserves. About 15% of the foods are good, 15% are on that 50/50 take it or leave it, and 70% of the foods are terrible. So, you see a lot of choices, but it seems that only about 30% of the menu is above livestock grade food. Oh, and once you find something you like and decide to order it, they'll be sure to substitute it. This is why I quit the program. I did lose weight, and am continuing to on my own, but their poor customer service and frequent substituions pushed me beyond my limits of patience. If you go to a restaurant and order a steak, and the waiter brings you a plate with roadkill on it, expecting you to pay for it and accept it, would you actually eat it and pay for it? Sounds like an extreme analogy, but that basically sums up my experience with Nutrisystem. |

The first week was a litte hard getting adjusted but now we LOVE eating healthy. We both lost the weight we wanted nearly 100 lbs all together and we still incooperate this diet in our normal eating now. Love it and because of it we are MUCH HAPPIER! |
